APPROVED FUNDS FOR NEW PALILULA PROJECT This decision Palilula Municipality of Nis granted funds in the amount of 1,450,000.00 dinars for the implementation of the project "Conversion of illegal dumps in the park areas" from one of six areas earmarked for assistance to local governments in the implementation of environmental programs or local, and remedial action plans, projects and activities in the field of environmental protection. In accordance with the Regulation and the Commission's draft decision to conduct the identification and proposals for allocation of funds, the Minister Milan Markovic made a decision on the allocation of funds for 53 local governments for projects in six areas. In addition to activities in the area to assist local governments in implementing environmental programs and local, and remedial action plans, projects and activities in the field of environmental protection, which is perceived the activities of Palilula Municipality, the Ministry has supported the projects of local governments, with RSD 35,000,000.00, to participate in providing the missing part of funds, fully or partially, for the implementation of new or completion of initiated projects financed from the budget of local governments, which have special significance for the life of citizens in its territory. In this area the project will be supported and the Nis Mediana Municipality for the "reconstruction of office building to form a business service center." Funds in the amount of 5,000,000.00 dinars were approved by the decision of the Minister to assist local governments in the implementation of the rationalization program or capacity building of local government. With RSD 2,954,000.00 supported projects of local governments affected by natural disasters or other large-scale disaster. Funds in the amount of 15,000,000.00 dinars were allocated for the provision of technical and other assistance to modernize local governments work with RSD 21,500,000.00 have been supported by local governments in the implementation of projects of various forms of solidarity with persons who are substantially unequal position compared to other citizens, and persons with special needs and help socially-humanitarian organizations in their territory. |
